Founded almost 30 years ago by disabled veteran Rick Langer, president of Quetica, the annual pheasant hunt remains a highlight for veterans and disabled veterans who have formed lasting bonds through the years. This season’s hunt carried on the tradition, offering a day filled with conversation, laughter, and appreciation for the outdoors—even in the chill of the season. At its core, the event is about connection and support, values that align closely with Quetica’s mission to strengthen our community and honor veterans and their families.
