Ben Zietlow joins Quetica to continue growing the company’s expanding public sector freight planning and supply chain optimization practice.
Prior to joining Quetica, Ben was a Geoeconomist for the National Center for Freight and Infrastructure Research & Education (CFIRE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a position he held since February of 2012. At CFIRE, Ben’s responsibilities included policy data and technical support for the Mid-America Freight Coalition, including geospatial and economic analysis for the Mid–America Freight Coalition’s Regional Freight Study. Ben led CFIRE’s analysis of Wisconsin shippers’ proximity to rail service, and served as project manager for the center’s strategic management assessment that culminated in the center hosting the 2015 Next Generation Transportation for a Sustainable Future Summit. Ben also worked on a strategic seaport designation for Camp Shelby and the Port of Gulfport in Mississippi.
Ben holds a Master’s degree in GIS and a BS in Economics and Philosophy.
