Mid-America on the Move
MAASTO 2025 is a yearly get-together for the ten Midwestern state DOTs to swap ideas, share what’s working, and explore ways to collaborate. This year’s conference was held in August in downtown Minneapolis. The theme was “Mid-America on the Move.” The event brought together professionals from State DOTs, FHWA leadership, and consultants and contractors in the infrastructure space. The sessions included technical topics across four main tracks: safety, sustainability, stewardship, and innovation.
The Mid-American Freight Coalition (MAFC) Annual Meeting, in partnership with MAASTO, ran parallel to the MAASTO agenda and included freight sessions, networking and tours.
Quetica sponsored a Freight Rail Industry Tour for the MAFC members at the BNSF Intermodal Facility in St. Paul.
