Charter School Addition and Parking Lot Improvement
Kipp School is a public charter school located in north Minneapolis and open to all students. In 2014, Kipp School moved into a vacant Minneapolis public school building to allow for the school’s growing enrollment and expansion. This current project for the school involved parking lot improvements including removing existing impervious surface and replacing with pervious surface; correcting existing drainage issues within the northwest parking lot; and preparing a conceptual design for additional parking in the southeast portion of the site. Additionally, Quetica civil engineers designed a proposed 6,000 square foot addition to the lunchroom.
