City of Eden Prairie – Community Center Rink#2 Roof Replacement

This project included the replacement of approximately 4,860 square feet of existing EPDM loose laid ballasted system and the installation of a new built-up roofing system. The work scope included roof replacement, roof insulation replacement, and roof edge prefinished sheet metal flashing replacement. The project included non-structurally sloped precast concrete plank roof deck utilizing tapered insulation sloped to roof drains. The existing polystyrene base and tapered insulation layers were replaced with new polyisocyanurate base and tapered insulation layers significantly increasing the roofing system overall R-Value.
