Katie Russell, PE – Engineer Practice Leader & Lead Structural Engineer

Katie Russell has nearly 25 years of experience in structural engineering and project management and leads Quetica’s engineering practice. Her experience includes education/academic buildings, government buildings, industrial facilities, office buildings, church/worship facilities, recreational facilities, park/amphitheater facilities, libraries, and healthcare facilities. From simple structural elements to complex structural systems, she designs and manages many types of projects and takes pride in finding the best fit for her clients based on constructability, client end usage, and best-value using her knowledge in building material types. Ms. Russell has served as project manager and lead project engineer on many significant new development and renovation projects. She has experience in structural design using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry, and her services cover conceptual design through construction administration. Ms. Russell earned her a bachelor of science in architectural engineering from the Kansas State University.
