The Saint Paul Port Authority owns and manages four barge terminals in Saint Paul along the Mississippi river, providing a critical regional link in a much larger, intermodal freight transportation system. Currently, these terminals handle nearly 5.5 million tons of commodities each year.
Recently, the Saint Paul Port Authority contracted with Quetica to develop a supply chain network optimization model to improve the port’s competitiveness and profitability.
